Josephine Maguire has been appointed as chair of the Judicial Pension Board, following approval from the Lord Chancellor.
Maguire's appointment has been officially approved for a three-year term starting on 1 July 2025, after serving as the interim chair of the Judicial Pension Board since 20 May. Maguire is a trustee of the DH&S Retirement and Death Benefits Plan and the Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) Pension Fund. Previously, she was PwC pensions assurance director and an executive director of the Pensions Research Accountants Group. In January, she was appointed as the independent pensions specialist to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme Pension Board. The Judicial Pension Board, established under the Judicial Pension Regulations 2015, helps the Lord Chancellor manage and govern the Judicial Pension Schemes by: ensuring they comply with the requirements of The Pensions Regulator; considering appeals and complaints; and making recommendations in internal dispute processes. Appointments are made, by the Lord Chancellor, under the Judicial Pension Regulations 2015 and are regulated by the commissioner for public appointments. This appointment has been made in line with the Governance Code on Public Appointments.
The trustees of the Posford Haskoning Limited Pension Plan have appointed First Actuarial to provide both actuarial and administration services.

The trustees and sponsor were impressed by First Actuarial’s plan to provide a dedicated point of contact for members. Quantum Advisory has appointed Anne-Marie Gillon as principal investment consultant within its Fiduciary Management Oversight Team.
Gillon has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry within asset management and as a consultant advising trustees on fiduciary management and governance matters. She is also an accredited pension trustee.
