Railpen has promoted Lewis Vanstone as head of infrastructure and Julia Diez as head of UK productive assets.
Vanstone joined Railpen in 2019 and has since played a central role in expanding Railpen’s infrastructure portfolio across renewable energy, energy storage, waste collection, hospitals and other essential infrastructure projects. In his new role, he will lead Railpen’s infrastructure team as it deepens its presence in renewable energy and essential services infrastructure, including the expansion of key collaborations. Meanwhile, Diez will be responsible for directing the strategic vision and execution of Railpen’s productive asset portfolio. Diez is experienced in capital deployment and portfolio management and has knowledge of the UK investment sector. She has worked collaboratively with stakeholders and supported the growth of companies such as CMR Surgical, Oxford Nanopore, and IP Group.
Hymans Robertson has appointed Donna Prince as head of member experience for risk transfer.
This newly created role, which sits within the firm's risk transfer and wind-up practice, shows Hymans Robertson's increasing focus on member outcomes as an important component of risk transfer strategy. In her new role, Prince will lead the development and delivery of member experience solutions and ensure that schemes are equipped to put member needs at the centre of their decision-making. Prince has almost 20 years of experience advising clients and has worked across a wide range of scheme sizes and complexities. She has supported clients of all sizes, ranging from less than £5m to £5bn, on a range of complex issues, such as specialising in member options and support for ongoing schemes.
John Goddard has taken over as Quilter Cheviot CEO from Andy McGlone.
The formal appointment of Goddard comes after regulatory approval. He joined the business at the beginning of September and brings extensive experience and a track record in driving strategic growth initiatives across multiple businesses and jurisdictions. Goddard joins the company after 28 years at HSBC, where he held several senior leadership roles, overseeing key developments within the group. McGlone, after 31 years at the company, will depart at the end of September to pursue other opportunities. Commenting on the appointment, Quilter CEO, Steven Levin, said: “We are really pleased to have John take over as chief executive at Quilter Cheviot. John brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience from his time in the industry, and I look forward to working closely with him.”
