A great opportunity to join an in house pensions technical team as a Technical Operations Lead. Perfect for a Senior Pensions Administrator ready for a step up, or someone already in a technical role seeking more responsibility.

Hybrid/London, up to 3 days working from home

You’ll be the go to expert for technical, legislative and operational matters—supporting internal teams, employers, and senior stakeholders, and ensuring smooth, compliant scheme operations.

About the Role

• Provide technical guidance on Scheme Rules, legislation and operational queries
• Investigate complex member cases and draft IDRP responses
• Manage regulatory reporting (Scheme Return, HMRC Events, levies)
Keep procedures compliant with legislative changes
• Support employer onboarding and exits
• Oversee monthly technical tasks and review work from the Technical Analyst
• Work closely with the Technical & Compliance Manager
• Line manage, mentor and develop the Technical Analyst

About You

• 5+ years DB/DC pension administration experience
• Strong pensions legislative knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Ability to research, interpret and apply complex information
• Strong communication skills with varied stakeholders
• Desirable: Degree, PMI qualification, Prince2 (or equivalents)
