Cardano has named Phil Yeoman its first group chief data officer.
In this newly created role, Yeoman will lead the data governance teams at Cardano and Now Pensions, part of the Cardano Group, and will also be responsible for the development and delivery of the group data strategy, data governance and data-driven innovation. He initially joined Now Pensions in May 2020 as head of data, having previously served as head of data governance at The Pensions Regulator and as former deputy director at the Department for Work and Pensions.
Dalriada Trustees has appointed Jessie Wilson as a professional trustee.
Wilson joins from Baillie Gifford, where she was a director in the firm’s US financial intermediaries team and also previously held the role of client services manager. She began her career at HSBC Actuaries & Consultants as an actuarial analyst, and brings 15 years’ experience to the role. Based in Dalriada’s Leeds office, the appointment is expected to further strengthen the provider’s network of staff across the UK.
Sackers has announced a swath of promotions for 2021.
Nigel Cayless, who is a key member of the firm’s distressed schemes and governance teams has been promoted to senior counsel, while Sonya Fraser, James Geer, Sarah Henderson and Oliver Topping have been promoted to associate director. In addition to this, Aaron Dunning-Foreman, Liam Goulding and Lucy Swart-Mallett have been promoted to the position of senior associate.
