Law Debenture has made several senior pension appointments.
Natalie Winterfrost has been appointed as head of pensions for a two-year term, effective 1 April 2026. She has served as a trustee and also held the role of CFA Society UK chair. Meanwhile, Sankar Mahalingham's new position as head of pension growth will leverage his business development and strategic client relationships knowledge. Both Winterfrost and Mahalingham will report directly to Law Debenture CEO, Denis Jackson. In addition to these appointments, Law Debenture has promoted Jane Beverly from head of trusteeship to senior director. In her new role, Beverly will focus on client work and technical excellence. The leadership team will be supported by the recently expanded Pensions Management Group, including new pensions HR business partner, Lily Lovegrove, and operations partner, Natalie Cannon.
Broadstone has appointed John Bacon as principal of projects and endgame administration.
Bacon joins Broadstone from Barnett Waddingham, where he spent 10 years working with the Pension Protection Fund, Clara and Pension Insurance Corporation. Before this, he spent eight years at Mercer across several roles and four years at Atkin & Co as operations and administration manager. In his new role, Bacon will focus on supporting Broadstone in enhancing its pension scheme administration capabilities, assisting the team with the preparation and execution of transactions, and post-transaction services across the full endgame spectrum. He will also support Broadstone head of operations, Paul Noone, who has also recently been appointed.
Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) has announced that Hitesh Patel will join the Boards of PIC and PIC’s parent company, PIC Group Limited, as an independent non-executive director.
The appointment will follow the completion of the acquisition of PIC Group by Athora Holding Ltd. Patel will become chair of the PIC Investment and Origination Committee and a member of the Nomination, Conflicts, and Board Risk committees. To his new role, he brings extensive insurance and financial services experience, including his former role as Lucida CEO. Patel is currently chair of Canopius Managing Agents and chairs Canopius Group’s Investment Committee. He is also non-executive director and senior independent director of Landmark Mortgages Limited, chairs the Board of Augusta Ventures Holdings Limited, and is the deputy chair and council member of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, chairing its Audit and Risk Committee.
Osmosis has hired Mark Hardiman as chief financial officer.
Hardiman brings over two decades of senior leadership experience to his new position from across the asset management industry, including roles at Aberdeen, HSBC Asset Management, and BNY Mellon. Most recently, he served as finance director at Cinven and previously held the role of chief financial officer of the investments division at Aberdeen. Commenting on his appointment, Hardiman said: “Osmosis has built a distinctive and high-quality platform. I’m excited to join at this stage and work with the team to scale the business with discipline, strengthen its financial infrastructure, and support the next phase of growth.”
