Intellica Group has appointed Keith Hawker as managing director.
Hawker has more than 30 years of experience across software and services organisations in both the public and private sectors, with leadership experience spanning delivery, engineering, product, sales, support, and finance. He has held senior leadership roles within organisations such as Capita and Civic. In his new role, Hawker will work alongside Intellica Group CEO, Brendan Doherty, who will continue to lead the overall strategic direction and growth. Meanwhile, Hawker will focus on operational leadership, organisational alignment, and supporting the continued integration and evolution of the business. The appointment follows a successful first year since the integration of Cosan Consulting into Intellica Group.
Brightwell has announced the appointment of Mike Bussey as non-executive chair, subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Bussey will be responsible for leading the board and ensuring it meets its collective responsibilities. He will also be in charge of chairing the Remuneration Committee. He worked for HSBC Group based in Asia, the Gulf, Africa, North America and the UK for over 20 years in several senior executive-level roles. This was followed by 10 years as CEO of global private banking and trust firms. Since 2011, Bussey has held several chair and non-executive roles. He currently serves as non-executive chairman for Deutsche UK Bank Ltd.
Muse Advisory has hired Peter Shaw as principal.
Shaw brings over 20 years of experience in pensions and joins Muse from LCP, where he was principal, focusing on governance, risk and outsourced pensions management. He is also a fellow of the Pensions Management Institute. Commenting on the appointment, Muse Advisory director, Rosanne Corbett, said: “Pete is joining us at exactly the right time. Having someone of Pete’s calibre strengthens our expertise in governance and risk as trustees prioritise these areas – Pete’s deep experience in managing cyber risk, in particular, will be invaluable to our clients.”
Walker Morris has announced that Danny Fowler has joined the Pensions team as a director.
He joins the firm from Fieldfisher, where he was previously a director. Before this, he served as senior manager at PwC Pensions Legal Practice, where he spent eight years advising employers and trustees on a broad range of pensions-related matters. He trained at Squire Patton Boggs and completed secondments with (what was then known as) Friends Life UK and Leeds Building Society. In his new role, Fowler will play a key role in supporting the growth of the Pensions team and enhancing its client offering across the UK.
