Pensions for Purpose has achieved accreditation for the Real Living Wage and the Living Pension Employer Standard.

The Living Pension Scheme provides a framework for employers to ensure workers can save adequately for retirement and meet their basic everyday needs after employment. As a Living Pension signatory, Pensions for Purpose committed to making pension contributions of at least 12 per cent of earnings for all employees, with a "significant" portion coming from the employer. Pensions for Purpose CEO, Charlotte O'Leary, also urged other organisations in the financial and pension industries to "join this important movement".

Smart Pension has surpassed £6bn in assets under management (AUM).

Smart Pension revealed that the AUM in its master trust grew by 20 per cent in the seven months since it announced £5bn in AUM earlier in 2024. This was achieved through a combination of investment growth, new business wins, and strategic master trust consolidations, such as the recently completed acquisition of Evolve Pensions, which involved the transfer of more than 130,000 members from the Crystal Trust. The master trust is powered by Keystone, the retirement savings technology developed by its parent company, Smart. Smart UK CEO, James Fiveash, said the master trust had become the "go-to" consolidator.

Isio has launched a new service to support NHS employees affected by the McCloud pensions tax roll-back.

The McCloud remedy aims to address age discrimination in the 2015 public service pension reforms by rolling back the scheme benefits into the previous final salary schemes for affected public sector members. Isio's new service will target NHS pension scheme members, who will receive a Remediable Pension Savings Statement (RPSS) to collect the required data and submit it to HMRC. The service has been designed so that the fees are compensable under the NHS's McCloud ‘Cost Claim Back’ scheme, which means individuals should not be out of pocket. It will also be available for senior police employees affected by the same issue. Isio director and head of healthcare, Paul Moffatt, confirmed the service would be provided at "no expected cost" to the individuals.
