M&G has appointed John Bruen as head of Infracapital.

M&G’s infrastructure private equity investment arm, Infracapital, has appointed John Bruen to lead the business. He will join the company on 1 September and report to M&G Investments chief investment officer private markets, Emmanuel Deblanc. Bruen has over 25 years of international infrastructure investment experience. He joins M&G from H.I.G. Capital, where, as managing director and partner, he helped establish the firm's infrastructure platform. He succeeds Martin Lennon, who is retiring after more than 36 years in the industry.

Shackleton Advisers Limited has announced that the PODE Services team has joined the company to expand its existing pension on divorce expert capability.

PODE Services founder, Simon Ricca, trainee actuary, Sarah French, pensions analyst, Jacques Basson, and specialist administrator, Danielle Levy, have joined Shackleton Advisers Limited. These individuals will join existing Shackleton pension on divorce expert, Stephanie Potter, and administrator, Pavlina Coufalova. The move intends to support the build-out of its existing capability to advise clients and their legal representatives on pension-related matters both during and after divorce.

Alltrust has appointed Liz Ramsaran as legal director.

Ramsaran has more than 15 years of experience in pensions law, having advised at several firms including CMS, Ashurst, DWF and PwC. She will be responsible for leading Alltrust’s legal function, supporting the business as it continues to grow and strengthen its governance, regulatory engagement and member protection across its self-invested personal pensions, family pension trust and small self-administered schemes propositions. She has experience in trust and pensions law, trust documentation, member engagement and communication, transfers and member disputes, regulatory engagement, and the structure, governance and reporting of pension arrangements.
