West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) is seeking a highly organised and detail conscious Pension System Developer to join our team.

You will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our pension fund operations, working with external and internal development teams supporting multiple clients contributing to the ongoing success and growth of WYPF.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and implement software updates to improve pension scheme administration.
• Develop and introduce efficiencies and cost savings in pension administration.
• Support and enhance the electronic workflow system for staff, employers, members, and pensioners.
• Provide technical support, training, and demonstrations to staff and external bodies.
• Run and develop database scripts to automate processes and improve data integrity.
• Ensure quality assurance procedures are followed and act on audit recommendations.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Participate in project groups and contribute to changes in working procedures.
• Provide reports and statistical information for management and regulatory purposes.
• At advanced levels, mentor junior staff, manage projects, liaise with external partners, and represent WYPF at forums and meetings.
