An exciting opportunity has arisen for two IT Support Officers to join the infrastructure, cloud and cyber security team at West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF). At WYPF we look after over £20bn of pension funds and have circa 30 clients who we undertake pension administration for as well as run financial systems and an impressive artificial intelligence tooling suite to support parts of the organisation.

We are seeking two proactive and highly organised team players to support across all aspects of infrastructure, cloud and cyber security team across the Unit and to manage, develop and report from our existing ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus .

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to the infrastructure, cloud and cyber security team.
Manage, develop and report from ServiceDesk plus.

Ensure daily backups are completed on all servers and coordinate the secure transfer of backup tapes off‑site in conjunction with our third‑party provider.

Check and upload "Tell Us Once" data, update the NI Database, process Oracle exports and Tax Code updates, and take appropriate action to resolve any issues.

Apply problem‑solving skills to evaluate and investigate issues, suggesting or implementing effective resolutions.

Ensure desktops, printers, mobile devices, and other ICT hardware are installed correctly, efficiently, and within agreed timescales and standards.
Maintain and update WYPF’s asset register and other hardware registers, ensuring accuracy at all times.

Maintain a can -do attitude to IT colleagues and customers by resolving issues and proactively performing root cause analysis to reduce reoccurrence
