Appointments update – 27 July 2026

M&G has hired Matt Mansour as chief technology and artificial intelligence (AI) officer, subject to regulatory approval.

The appointment is scheduled to take effect on 16 September, and in his new role, Mansour will lead M&G’s technology function, overseeing the delivery of the group’s technology, digital and AI strategy. He has over 30 years of experience in tech and digital roles across the financial services industry. Most recently, Mansour has worked at SMBC Group as chief operations officer for next-gen technology and AI enablement. He is also part of the founding executive team for kAIgentic, where he is now a strategic adviser. Before this, he worked at QBE Insurance for almost seven years, and prior to QBE, he held several senior leadership roles at Barclays and General Electric. He will report to M&G Group chief executive officer, Andrea Rossi, and replace Chris Cochrane, who is stepping down from his role at the end of July after eight years with the firm.

TPT Retirement Solutions has appointed Harry Bridger as business development manager.

Bridger has over a decade of experience working across the UK pension and financial services sectors. He joins TPT from Brightwell and earlier in his career worked at PwC’s actuarial practice. In his new role, Bridger will contribute to new business generation, helping prospective clients understand TPT’s pension consolidation vehicles. He will report to TPT head of distribution, Adam Tudor, who said that the provider is “delighted to welcome” Bridger to the company.

State Street IM has made three senior appointments to its European client coverage business.
