Isio has appointed Dan Thomas as chief executive officer, effective 1 September.
Thomas joins Isio with over two decades of leadership experience spanning professional services, consulting, outsourcing, and growth transformation. His career has included senior leadership roles at KPMG, Dell, Huntswood and the Management Consulting Group. He has also worked closely with several private equity-backed businesses, advising on growth strategy, commercial transformation and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled professional services. Thomas succeeds Andrew Coles, the current chief executive officer.
Aptia has appointed Wendy Neller as a senior consultant.
Neller has been appointed to enhance Aptia’s expertise across pension scheme operations, governance and regulatory strategy, including within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). She brings more than 26 years of experience in the pensions industry, spanning administration, governance, strategy and regulatory oversight. She began her career with Mercer before moving to Equiniti, where she developed her expertise across administration and client project delivery. She has also held roles at The Pensions Regulator, East Sussex Fire Authority and East Sussex County Council. In her new position, she will support clients across a range of pension arrangements, with a focus on enhancing governance and risk frameworks, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring regulatory readiness.
Nomura Asset Management has announced the appointment of James Fouracre as head of UK institutional.
Fouracre will report to Douglas Stewart, head of distribution EMEA and will be based in London. His responsibilities include leading the firm’s UK institutional distribution strategy, driving growth, and strengthening client and consultant engagement to deliver solutions-oriented expertise. He joins Nomura Asset Management from Ruffer, where he served as head of defined contribution before his role expanded to encompass global consultants’ strategy and the firm's global retirement offering.
Cartwright Pension Trusts has appointed Scott Wright as senior pensions administrator.
Wright joins Cartwright Pension Trusts from First Actuarial and has more than seven years of experience in the pensions industry, working across both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes. He previously worked for Capita and has supported a range of pension arrangements throughout his career. Throughout his career, he has worked with trustees, employers and members across a variety of schemes, developing expertise in pension administration, member services and project delivery. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham and is currently studying for the Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision (ADRP).
