The Investing and Saving Alliance (TISA) has appointed Mark Westwell as chair.
Westwell has 40 years of experience in the financial services and previously held senior leadership and executive roles at NatWest, Chase/JP Morgan, Bank of New York and State Street Bank. Additionally, he served as a main board director for 10 years across several regulated businesses, in both the UK and South Africa. Westwell will replace Tony Stenning as chair. Commenting, TISA CEO, Carol Knight, said: “2026 is gearing up to be another important year for financial services. From investment policy to the pension landscape, there are many exciting opportunities and challenges our members will have to navigate. Welcoming Mark and his incredible expertise on board ensures we remain in a strong position to continue to deliver for our members and consumers.”
Muse Advisory has hired Susan Sinclair as senior consultant.
Sinclair, who previously worked at Hymans Robertson as third-party administration commercial and business development lead, brings over 30 years of strategic and operational
experience in pensions administration. Commenting on the appointment, Muse Advisory director, Jo Fellowes, said: “Susan’s appointment is a great addition to our team and is in response to growing client demand for us to help trustees and pensions heads to evaluate the services they receive from their current suppliers to ensure they are fit for purpose both now and into the future.”
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society of the UK has appointed seven new fellows, including Nest Invest CEO, Mark Fawcett, and Brunel Pension Partnership chief responsible investment officer, Faith Ward.
In addition to Fawcett and Ward, London Business School professor of finance and British Academy fellow, Alex Edmans, LSE FORGOOD co-founder, Annabel Gillard, Future of Sustainable Data Alliance executive director, Will Goodhart, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries fellow, Euan Munro, and Blondemoney CEO and founder, Helen Thomas, have also been appointed. Fawcett has over 35 years of experience in investment management, has held senior roles at Gartmore and American Express Asset Management and was awarded an OBE for services to pension saving. Meanwhile, Ward, who is Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change chair has spearheaded initiatives such as the Transition Pathway Initiative and serves on multiple advisory groups shaping the future of sustainable investment.
