News in brief - 25 March 2022

XPS Pensions Group has launched a bulk annuity tracker.

The XPS Bulk Annuity Tracker will track transactions completed since 2008, and will be updated with data from press releases and insurer updates as they become available, with deals to be broken down by insurer, premium volume and number of deals. The tool aims to help trustees to break down data by insurer and help them keep up to date with the latest trends in the market. It will also include new superfund transactions when possible.

AMX has announced the launch of a new climate reporting hub, AMX Zero.

The hub will allow pension scheme trustees to address fragmented climate data and the lack of standardised reporting in order to meet their regulatory responsibilities on climate, particularly in light of new climate requirements for large pension schemes. The tool manages the collection of data on behalf of pension funds, producing five standardised metrics that can be used to produce schemes’ Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) reports.

Canada Life has re-launched its updated home finance adviser portal.

The portal was updated following feedback from the adviser community, and aims to help advisers to generate quotes, submit applications and track case progress. New features include greater visibility for advisers over their options, smart search options, and quick edit quotes. It will also be accessible on-the-go thanks to an updated mobile and tablet experience.
