The London Clinic, the sponsoring employer, said that it has already seen an increase in positive member feedback as a result of the appointment.

Commenting on the appointment, scheme independent trustee and Vidett client director, Claire Teagle, said: “The key driver for changing the administration was to improve the member experience.”

Teagle said she was “delighted” to see such an improvement in in such a short period of time.

First Actuarial scheme actuary and associate partner, Andrew Allsopp, stated that its administration team has quickly put the basics in place and responded promptly to member requests and kept them informed as their cases progress.

“And as we promised London Clinic, members now have a named administrator they can contact directly by phone or email, and who knows about their situation,” he added.

The London Clinic Limited (1974) Retirement Fund is a defined benefit scheme with approximately 600 members and around £65m in assets.
