Appointments update 5 April 2022

Ross Trustees have named Andrew Bradshaw as CEO.

Bradshaw was previously Ross Trustees chief business development officer and has been part of the management team since 2012. He succeeds Nigel Moore as chief executive officer, who will remain on the Russ Trustees board, assuming the role of vice chairman. The appointment was announced amid continued growth for the firm, recording 40 per cent headcount growth in 2021, alongside 24 per cent revenue growth.

Alstom UK’s Common Investment Fund has appointed Mercer to provide fiduciary management services for three of their UK pension schemes.

As part of the appointment, Mercer will provide portfolio management, operational and implementation support to help deliver the trustees’ long-term objectives. The trustees appointed Mercer following a review of its in-house asset management arrangements, supported by PwC. The appointment also further grows Mercer’s fiduciary business, which now totals £58bn in the UK as of 31 December 2021.

SEI has appointed Ryan Hicke as CEO.

Hicke has held a number of senior leadership positions throughout his 24-year career at SEI, previously serving as senior vice president, where he led SEI’s UK asset management and private banking business, and as chief investment officer. He succeeds SEI founder, Alfred P. West Jr, who is moving to the role of executive chairman and will work closely with Hicke and the broader SEI executive management team to ensure a smooth transition.
