Clara-Pensions has appointed Travers Smith LLP as its legal adviser and to act as conflicts counsel.

Travers Smith will act on transactions when other legal advisers have a conflict. The team from Travers Smith includes Susie Daykin, Paul Stannard and Jonathan Gilmour. It will also act as legal adviser to the trustee of Clara-Pension Trust. CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang is the existing legal advisers to Clara-Pensions and Eversheds Sutherland is the existing legal advisers to the Clara Pensions Trust.

Quantum Advisory has named Julian Fox as principal consultant.

Fox has over 30 years of experience in the pensions industry, having worked in various consulting and client management roles at JLT, Aon Consulting and Sedgwick Noble Lowndes. He also held pensions manager positions at Tarmac Group and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

Clumber Consultancy has appointed Paul Milton as a director.

Milton has more than 30 years of experience in the specialist pensions sector. He has previously worked for Pannell Kerr Forster and RSM UK. He joins Clumber Consultancy to strengthen its ERA offering for Insolvency Practitioners having spent his career dealing with this complex and sensitive area onsite with employers and employees alike.
