Aon has announced the appointment of nine partners in its Wealth Solutions UK business.
The new partners are Kristle Barker, Hannah Brinton, James Collier, Gemma Cowan, Richard Gooch, Steve Nettleship, Matthew Pinkney, Andrew Shepherd and Greg Tucker. Barker is a scheme actuary and advises seven pension schemes on strategic and technical matters. Brinton is a senior member of Aon’s UK risk settlement group, advising clients on defined benefit (DB) pension scheme de-risking strategies. Collier is a senior member of Aon’s defined contribution (DC) consulting team. Cowan is a lead adviser in Aon’s corporate pensions practice. Meanwhile, Gooch is a senior member of Aon’s corporate pension consulting team. Nettleship is a senior leader in Aon’s GMP equalisation team, providing strategic advice to some of Aon’s largest and most complex pension clients. Pinkney leads Aon’s UK pensions data solutions team, which specialises in data and administration change projects. Shepherd is head of DB delegated clients in Aon’s UK Investment practice. Tucker is a senior member of Aon’s newly formed Insurance consulting team and provides strategic advice to 11 pension schemes.
HSBC Asset Management has appointed Dan Rudd as CEO of HSBC Global Asset Management (UK) Ltd and head of UK Wholesale, subject to regulatory approval.
In his dual role, Rudd will be responsible for the development and oversight of the firm’s UK business as well as leading the UK Wholesale Sales team. He brings over 30 years of experience in the asset management industry and has been with HSBC Asset Management since 2005. He most recently held the role of head of Wholesale Northern Europe and has led the growth of its wholesale businesses across the Middle East, Northern Europe and the UK. Rudd will continue to be based in London and report to HSBC Asset Management Europe, UK and Americas CEO, Thorsten Michalik.
Quilter has made several appointments in its responsible investment team.
Ido Eisenberg has been appointed as head of responsible investment of the affluent division, following a successful interim tenure. Eisenberg brings over 20 years of experience in asset management, investment and sustainability, including at JP Morgan Asset Management and more recently as a director at Deloitte. Joining Eisenberg’s team are two new hires, Maggie Jou and Roz Yazdan. Jou will join as responsible investment reporting & implementation manager, while Yazdan will join as environmental, social and governance analyst. Jou joins from Deloitte and Yazdan was most recently at MainStreet Partners. In addition to these new hires, Quilter has promoted two existing members of the team. Nikki Williamson has been promoted to integration and stewardship lead and Will Miller has been promoted to responsible investment data lead.
