Appointments update 21 April 2020

Independent Trustee Services has named Tegs Harding as director.

Harding joins the firm with over 15 years’ experience in the finance and investment industry, having previously worked for Mercer as both a strategist and investment consultant. She is also a qualified actuary, with experience in all aspects of investment strategy and implementation, and a specific expertise in environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations. Her appointment is the third major hire of 2020 for the firm.

CMS has announced the promotion of Mark Jenkins to partner.

His appointment also follows the recent promotion of Tim Green and brings the total number of partners in the UK pensions team to 17. Jenkins joined the firm as a trainee in 2009 and advises employers and trustees on all aspects of UK pensions. He has particular expertise in advising on buy-ins, buyouts and longevity swaps, and also sits on the London Committee of the Pensions Management Institute.

Delta has appointed David Zwirn as group sales director.

Having held senior leadership positions at several global financial services institutions, such as Hargreaves Lansdown, Morningstar and Letterly Calastone, he will be responsible for developing new markets for Delta’s next-generation technology platform Platinum Pro. The firm stated that his appointment signalled a “clear intent” to expand its reach into the platform, particularly for the management of complex assets and income drawdown.
