Hymans Robertson has named Jon Hatchett as senior partner.
Hatchett will lead the firm from 1 April, taking on the role from John Dickson who, with the rolling tenure of the senior partner role, will be resuming a focus on strategic investment advice. Hatchett joined the firm in 2006 and became a partner in 2013, before being invited to be an equity member of the firm in 2017. He has held various leadership responsibilities during that time, including being the founder and head of the firm’s Incubator. Prior to this, he was head of corporate defined benefit (DB) consulting, where he where he advised on pension issues, such as long-term strategy, and led the development of the firm’s at-retirement education and engagement programmes.
TPT Retirement Solutions has appointed Ian Maybury to its funding committee.
Maybury joined TPT in January as a co-opted expert for TPT’s funding committee. He is also a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and has previously served on pension scheme committees for British Airways, the Universities Superannuation Scheme, Unilever’s UK Pension Scheme, and Royal Mail’s Collective DC Pension Plan. In addition to this, he has served as an independent member of the John Lewis Partnership Pension Scheme trustee board since 2018.
Pegasus Pensions has appointed Scott Pinder as a pensions director and Tina Keeling as senior pensions executive.
Pinder, to be based in the London office, joins Pegasus from WTW where he was a director, scheme actuary and a governance thought leader, having previously been a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Keeling, to be based in the Manchester office, joins from Bombardier/Alstom where she was UK pensions manager responsible for four DB occupational pension schemes and a large defined contribution scheme which moved to master trust in 2018. The appointments are the latest in a string of additions, following the appointment of Jamie Goodfellow and Helen Nguyen as senior pensions executives in London in February.
