Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) has promoted Dominic Veney to the role of chief financial officer (CFO).
He first joined PIC in April 2018 as a chief actuary, with responsibility for monitoring the company’s solvency position and supporting the company’s financial reporting, and has 25 years of experience in the UK life insurance industry, including as a partner at PwC. Veney will succeed Rob Sewell as CFO and a director of PIC following his retirement at the end of the year.
Go Pensions has appointed Tina Oversby as a director.
Oversby has been with Go Pensions as a senior consultant since 2020 and is responsible for its master trust and consolidation consulting services. Prior to this, she worked in a number of pensions and benefits management roles, including for a large natural resources organisation. She has 20 years of experience in the pensions industry, and specialises in managing large pensions and benefits projects.
River & Mercantile (R&M) has named Britt Hoffmann-Jones as head of proposition development in its solutions business.
Her new role will see her develop R&M’s master trust offering for both defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. Britt has over 15 years’ experience and has held various senior positions within the investment management sector, including a previous period with R&M Group as head of UK defined contribution pensions, and most recently, as PTL head of proposition development.
