The Money and Pensions Service (Maps) has named Angela Pober as implementation director of the Pensions Dashboard Industry Delivery Group (IDG).
Pober will lead the implementation executive of the IDG, with day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of the technology that will enable dashboards to work. She has 15 years of experience in the financial services sector, most recently with Deloitte and PwC. Maps has also appointed Capgemini to support on the business case and roadmap for the dashboard.
The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) has appointed Neil Buckley as the new chair of its regulation board.
Buckley is currently chief executive of the legal services board (LSB), a role he will be stepping down from in August. He is also a board member of the Valuation Tribunal Service and of the General Pharmaceutical Council. Before joining the LSB, Neil was director of investigations at Ofcom, where he led a team responsible for enforcing competition law and the regulatory rules.
The Asset Management Exchange (AMX) has announced the appointment of Christopher Head as head of business development.
Head joins the AMX from BlackRock, where he worked for 13 years, moist recent as head of UK local authorities. He was also a member of BlackRock’s institutional UK client executive committee and was responsible for sales strategy development and execution. At the AMX, Head will be responsible for overseeing business development, marketing and client service.
