Appointments update – 1 December 2025

Zedra has promoted Matt Race-Pridding to head of Trust Essentials, its professional sole corporate trustee proposition.

Leveraging his current position as client director, Race-Pridding will lead the development of Trust Essentials. Commenting on the appointment, Zerda managing director, Kim Nash, said: “Since joining us in 2015, Matt has been an invaluable part of our team. His promotion to client director earlier this year reflected his outstanding leadership and expertise, and, as head of Trust Essentials, he will continue to drive our commitment to supporting pension schemes of all sizes with effective, proportionate governance solutions.”

Howden has announced the appointment of Carla Hammond as chief financial officer for Howden Health & Employee Benefits and Barnett Waddingham.  

Hammond joins from Jones Lang LaSalle, where she spent 18 years in senior finance leadership roles, most recently as head of finance for the UK & Ireland. In her new role, she will lead financial strategy, governance and performance across Howden’s combined UK employee benefits business. She will also provide financial oversight for its Health & Employee Benefits’ global operations. As chief financial officer, Hammond will report to Howden UK Health & Employee Benefits CEO and global practice leader, Glenn Thomas. This appointment follows Howden’s acquisition of Barnett Waddingham in April 2025. Hammond’s appointment is effective immediately, subject to regulatory approval.

TPT Retirement Solutions has hired Katherine Lynas as head of consultant relations.

Lynas brings over two decades of experience in the pensions and institutional investment industry to her new role. She has held a range of senior roles across marketing, business development and client solutions, and most recently served as a senior consultant at Punter Southall Group. Prior to that, she held roles at SEI and XPS Pensions Group. In her new role as head of consultant relations, she will report to TPT Retirement Solutions’ commercial director, Nicholas Clapp, and identify and build relationships with employee benefit consultants across the full spectrum of consolidation vehicles TPT offers.
