Just Group has confirmed its new board of directors following its acquisition by Brookfield Wealth Solutions.
Nigel Wilson has been appointed as group chair, as John Hastings-Bass steps down from the role. Additionally, Jim Brown, Michelle Cracknell, Mary Kerrigan, Mary Phibbs, Mark Godson, and Matt Saker have stepped down from the Just board of directors. In addition to the appointment of Wilson, Arshil Jamal, Frank Oldham, Jennifer Gillespie, Jon Bayer, and Shashank Bhalla have been appointed to the board.
Isio has hired Kevin Howard as partner and head of pensions administration.
Howard brings over 30 years of experience in regulated financial services, operations, and transformation. He joins from WTW, where he spent almost eight years in senior leadership roles, most recently as managing director and head of outsourcing Great Britain. Before WTW, Howard held senior executive roles at First Central and Allianz, where he was responsible for operational leadership, business change, and shared services.
People’s Partnership has appointed Jason Whyte as strategy director.
Whyte, in his new role, will be responsible for developing the organisation’s long-term strategy. He joins People’s Partnership from PA Consulting, where he was head of life & pensions, and brings over 30 years of experience in financial services. In his career, he has held positions at EY, Graphene-X and Grant Thornton.
Hymans Robertson has announced that it has appointed two equity members and promoted 11 staff to partner.
Alec Day and Scott Finnie have been promoted as equity members. Day heads up the consultancy’s actuarial private business unit and has worked in the pensions industry since 1998, joining Hymans Robertson in 2014 from Mercer. Meanwhile, Finnie is in charge of ensuring the firm’s third party administration’s technology and processes support schemes’ delivery for their members. He has a background in software engineering and joined Hymans Robertson in 2013. In addition to these appointments, Hymans Robertson also promoted 11 members of staff to partners. This includes: head of Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) investment, Iain Campbell, scheme actuary, Lisa Deas, principal governance, administration and projects consultant, Kate Dickson, head of defined contribution (DC) corporate consulting, Hannah English, fund actuary, Greer Flanagan, scheme actuary, Graham Jones, Hymans Robertson Investment Services (HRIS) head of compliance, George Leach, head of sole trustee services, Shani McKenzie, head of risk, Aisling McMullan, HR director, Steve Moore, and technical architect, Jon Russell.
