Appointments update 9 December 2020

20-20 Trustees has announced the appointment of Stuart Travers as trustee director.

Travers will be based in Bristol, further expanding the local footprint of the firm to cover the southwest of England and Wales, and joins from Winterbourne Trustee Service, where he has acted as trustee for over 15 clients. He has more than 30 years of experience, having previously also held senior consulting roles with companies such as SBJ Benefit Consultants, Bluefin, and Alexander Forbes, and has worked with a range of sponsors, advisers and industry professionals on many complex funding projects.

Now Pensions has named Michael De Lathauwer as non-executive chair.

The appointment was made with immediate effect, and follows the departure of John Rowland, who held the role for three years. De Lathauwer, who has previously held the role of non-executive director at the pension provider, will also remain CEO of the Cardano Group.

BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed Daniel Klein as global head of client services.

Klein will be based in Paris and report to BNP AM head of global client group, Sandro Pierri, as of 1 January 2021. He has been with BNP Paribas for over 27 years, having spent the last 18 years of at BNPP AM. Most recently, he held the role of BNPP AM USA CEO and head of sales in North America for five years. He has also previously held several roles in Asia and Europe within BNPP AM, including CEO of BNPP AM Japan, head of product specialists and head of the discretionary portfolio management team.
