The Investing and Saving Alliance (Tisa) has launched a new guide on Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

The guidance is designed to help financial service providers with their environmental, social and governance (ESG) disclosures and to better understand the Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) and what is expected of them. The launch of the guidance was highlighted by Tisa as a “significant step” towards the standardisation of ESG data, and in turn towards the transparent reporting of ESG commitments of financial service providers.

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has announced the launch of its Global Equity Transitions Fund.

The fund, which is an Article 8 EU taxonomy-aligned fund, will invest across global equity markets to provide investors with exposure to companies that can make a real contribution to the climate transition. Companies will be characterised by their ability to transition their own businesses over time to a more sustainable path and contribute to the transition of others, whilst also demonstrating a record of active engagement with shareholders.

Senior Living Investment Partners has announces its first retirement community investment via a joint venture with Elysian Residences.

As part of this, Senior Living Investment Partners, a partnership between the Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) and Octopus Real Estate, has acquired a nine-acre site with planning consent to develop 124 residences in an Integrated Retirement Community (IRC), in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Alongside 80 apartments and 44 two-bedroom bungalows, the community will include a restaurant, cafe, library, cinema, and village green. The joint-venture aims to house up to 2,000 people across ten IRC developments in the future, with these communities to be designed with strong ESG credentials.
