Appointments update 26 October 2021

Aegon Asset Management (Aegon AM) has announced the appointment of Nathan Robinson as business development manager.

Robinson joins from Russel Investments, where he worked as a sales associate in the company’s UK institution team. Prior to this, he was a marketing analyst at Wellington Management. He will be based in the firm’s London office and will report to Aegon AM head of UK institutional business, Jill Johnston.

Best Trustees has named Tom Earl bids and marketing manager.

Earl joins the firm from Buck, having previously also held bid and business development roles at Mercer and BDO. In addition to this, Best Trustees has also announced the appointment of two new professional trustees, Jennie Kreser and Andrew Campbell. Kreser is a solicitor with more than 30 years’ experience in pensions, joining from Laytons LLP, where she was a former partner and consultant. Campbell also brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, and has been acting as a professional pension trustee since 2017. Prior to this, he was a consulting actuary, most recently with Willis Towers Watson.

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) has appointed Julia Goh to its board and the board of its parent company, Pension Insurance Corporation Ltd, as an independent non-executive director.

Goh brings significant experience to the role, having previously been Barclays Investment Bank COO for global markets and Credit Suisse global head of prime services risk. She is also a director of the charity, Children of the Mekong.
