Origo launches pensions dashboards matching toolkit

Origo has launched a pensions dashboards matching toolkit allowing providers to test their ability to match find requests received via pensions dashboards.

The Origo Matching Toolkit, a standalone service that can integrate with the Origo Dashboard Connector (ODC) service, can handle any size of data sets, delivering “rapid matching in as little as milliseconds”.

It also uses the same matching algorithm as the full ODC service, which is a fully managed service for providers that need to connect to the pensions dashboard’s central digital architecture and respond to consumers’ pension data requests.

The service can fulfil a consumer’s request for their pensions data, conform to legislative obligations, relieve the challenge of technical complexity, and meet all service levels required for the pensions dashboards ecosystem.

The toolkit builds on this offering, through data match testing and analysis, helping providers set and test their matching rules with simulated requests they have full control over and that align with the latest data standards.

In addition to this, it is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation and provides a visual representation of all full and partial data matches.

The service is fully customisable, allowing providers to tailor and edit rules to fit with their organisation and their customers.

Origo said that the toolkit’s data security is maintained as it operates within the providers’ own IT infrastructures against data the provider can set and control.

Commenting on the launch, Origo CEO, Anthony Rafferty, said: “It’s vitally important that consumers are able to locate their pensions wherever they may be, in order that they have a full picture of their retirement savings to help them to make informed financial decisions.

“The Origo Matching ToolKit has been designed to be a comprehensive digital solution, taking the friction and stress out of data matching for pension providers, in an area which is already highly resource-intensive.

“By making the toolKit a standalone service, we can help both ODC clients and any other providers in the market, test and analyse their data matching capabilities and have the peace of mind that they can meet their obligations in line with Pensions Dashboards Programme standards.”
