- PensionBee now has assets under administration of over £500m.

Commenting on the news, PensionBee CEO Romi Savova, said since founding the business she has been “overwhelmed” by the positive response. “Our easy-to-use platform enables customers of all ages to engage with their savings in a way that was never thought possible before. We will continue to grow and attract more customers by making pensions even more accessible, while pressing for industry change and campaigning for the rights of pension savers. 2019 is an exciting year of growth for PensionBee and we look forward to what is to come.”

- Barnett Waddingham has been accredited with a ‘gold award’ from the Independent Investor in Customers (ICC) assessment process for its consultancy and administration services.

ICC is an independent customer experience agency which conducts rigorous benchmarking to ascertain the quality of customer service and relationships in order to award accreditations. By undertaking an external review and combining it with client, employee and management team feedback, IIC is able to uncover how customer service and satisfaction is delivered by an organisation.

- Zhongzhi Enterprise Group (ZEG), a PRC based financial conglomerate, DeepBlue Global Investment (DeepBlue), a Hong Kong based multi-strategy asset management firm, and CQS, a London headquartered global asset management firm, have announced a strategic cooperation agreement to develop asset management services in Asia.

CQS founder and senior investment officer, Sir Michael Hintze, said: “This is a further sign of CQS’ commitment to our clients. Markets are more global than ever. Engagement with and an understanding of China and Asia are critical to providing returns, and international investors want ways to participate in the growth of the Chinese and Asian economies.”
