XPS Pensions Group has launched a free online learning and support platform for pension professionals.

The XPSArena will enable trustees, sponsors and employers to access information and insights on the key issues facing the industry. It will offer up-to-date information, resources, support and professional development resources for pension professionals. The platform is split into four ‘sections’: the trustee zone, employer zone, a learning and training section, and a section analysing the impact of regulatory and legislative changes.

Scottish Widows has unveiled a tool to allow workplace pension savers to assess how sustainable their pension is.

The environmental, social and governance (ESG) tool is a mobile phone app feature where members will be able to view the sustainable impact of their pension investments. Savers of workplace pensions will be provided with personalised sustainability impact ratings based on the companies and funds they are invested in via their pensions. The Find Your Impact tool hopes to help drive interest and engagement in pensions by making it simple for people to see how and where their money was invested.

The Quilter Foundation has renewed and expanded its partnership with financial education charity, MyBnk.

The partnership will see The Quilter Foundation help fund the charity’s programmes for the next three years. It will result in The Quilter Foundation and MyBnk providing financial education to over 9,000 young people, aged 7-25, in Southampton and London. MyBnk and The Quilter Foundation have collaborated since 2016 and will continue to deliver financial education programmes for children aged 11-18 in schools and colleges in areas that may have children who have low financial capability or are from disadvantaged backgrounds. The expansion of this partnership sees increased reach to younger children aged 7-11.
