Scottish Widows has unveiled a tool to allow workplace pension savers to assess how sustainable their pension is.
The environmental, social and governance (ESG) tool is a mobile phone app feature where members will be able to view the sustainable impact of their pension investments. Savers of workplace pensions will be provided with personalised sustainability impact ratings based on the companies and funds they are invested in via their pensions. The Find Your Impact tool hopes to help drive interest and engagement in pensions by making it simple for people to see how and where their money was invested.
