Isio has announced the appointment of Gareth Roberts as chief financial officer.
Roberts joins Isio from Howden, where he most recently held the role of finance director. Before this, he served as group financial controller at Bupa and was a partner at Deloitte. In his role at Isio, he will oversee the organisation’s financial operations. The appointment coincides with a period of expansion at the company, following Aquiline's recent investment. Isio CEO, Andrew Coles, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gareth to the team. His extensive experience in senior finance roles for large, complex organisations will be crucial in ensuring we are well-positioned for our next phase of growth.”
Local Pensions Partnership Investments (LPPI) has appointed a new Direct Infrastructure leadership team.
Jonathan Ord has been promoted to head of direct infrastructure, having served as head of investment since January 2024. In his new role, he will take overall responsibility for leading the team. In addition to Ord's appointment, Daniel Hobson, formerly head of infrastructure asset management, will transition into a newly created role of head of origination and execution. Hobson will oversee origination activity and strengthen engagement with external partners. LPPI have also appointed James Harraway as head of value creation. Harraway joins from Infracapital, where he worked as managing director. He has more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure investment in mergers and acquisitions.
Gallagher has appointed David Rush as an independent non-executive director.
Rush brings extensive experience in financial services, having spent nearly 40 years at Deloitte in Australia and the UK, where he was a partner, a member of the Global Insurance Executive team and head of EMEA insurance. As part of his role at Gallagher, he will become the chair of the audit committee, subject to regulatory approval, replacing Jamie Drummond-Smith. Drummond-Smith will be stepping down as a non-executive director in February 2026, having spent 12 years with the business. Gallagher non-executive UK chair, Sue Langley, said: “Having enjoyed a long career at Deloitte, David brings a wealth of market knowledge and experience, and I am thrilled to welcome him to our UK board.”
