Appointments update 7 May 2019

Santander UK has appointed Lee Sullivan as its head of group pensions.

The appointment was effective from 1 May 2019 and will see Sullivan being responsible for running the trustee executive function of the scheme, working with trustee board chairman, Paul Trickett. Sullivan joins Santander from BNP Paribas, where he was group pensions manager for six years. His appointment comes after Stuart Dunn left the role.

Scottish law firm MacRoberts has promoted pensions lawyer James Keith to the role of partner.

Keith began his career with MacRoberts in 2003 as a trainee and has been with the firm ever since. Most recently, Keith worked as a legal director in the company’s pensions group. He is also a director in the firm’s independent trustee company, MacRoberts Trustees Limited.

The Asset Management Exchange (AMX) has hired Jonathan Greenwold to its executive committee and Patrick Waters to its manager development team.

Greenwold joined AMX from Aspect Capital, where he served as general counsel for ten years. Prior to this, he was employed at Slaughter & May. At AMX, his responsibilities will be in legal, risk and compliance. Waters joins AMX’s manager development team in the US from State Street Global Advisors, where he spent over eight years as vice president and senior relationship manager. Prior to that, Waters was at Blackrock.
