Appointments update 5 March 2019

Aviva Investors has announced the appointment of Stephen Castle as its head of UK consultant relations.

Castle brings 18 years of experience to his new role. Most recently, he was a senior business development manager at Pictet Asset Management. Prior to that, Castle worked as a client relationship manager at Legal & General Investment Management and as a client account manager at The Bank of New York.

BMO Global Asset Management has named Christy Jesudasan as a director responsible for institutional fiduciary solutions sales in the UK.

Jesudasan takes on the newly created role with over 20 years of experience in the pensions and investment industry. Prior to joining BMO Global Asset Management, he worked within the fiduciary sector at Kempen, MN and Mercer. He also worked with pension schemes across all aspects of investment.

Aviva has appointed Maurice Tulloch as its new chief executive officer (CEO), with immediate effect.

He will also return to his role as non-executive chairman. Tulloch joined Aviva in 1992 and was appointed to its board in 2017. Prior to his new role, Tulloch was CEO, international insurance, after being CEO of Aviva UK and Ireland General Insurance. He will earn a basic annual salary of £975,000 and will receive pension contributions of 14 per cent of his salary.
