Appointments update 23 January 2019

TPT Retirement Solutions has appointed Richard Giles as its head of strategic partnerships.

Giles brings nearly 30 years of experience working in the pensions industry to his new role. He joins TPT from PwC where he spent the last 11 years, most recently as partner, actuary and head of pension advisory services in the north. Prior to that he was partner at Mercer for 17 years.

PTL has announced the appointment of Clare James as a client director.

James has 25 years of experience in the pensions industry and more than 10 years of service on various governing boards. She was elected a member of the City of London Corporation, where she serves on various committees including the finance committee and on the financial investment board.

Kames Capital has named Bjorn Norrman as a financial credit research analyst.

Norrman joins Kames from Fitch Ratings, where he worked for eight years, most recently as senior director, financial institutions. He brings over 12 years of financial services experience to his new role and has been employed to strengthen Kames’ fixed income team.
