Kames Capital has named Jill Shaw as a senior investment specialist and Thomas Dickson as an investment specialist.
Shaw brings nearly 25 years of financial services experience to her new role, of which 20 years has been in asset management. She joins from Aberdeen Standard Investments, where she was Asia Pacific head of strategic engagement, and has held previous roles at Aegon Asset Management and Standard Life Investments. Dickson has nine years of asset management experience and joins from ASI, where he specialised in promoting its fixed income product range.
Franklin Templeton has appointed Nicole Vettise as senior vice president, institutional portfolio manager.
Vettise brings over 20 years of experience in the investment industry and joins the firm from BlackRock, where she managed a team of product strategists for a range of equity strategies. Prior to this, she was institutional portfolio manager, emerging markets and natural resources at RBC Global Asset Management and previously worked at JP Morgan Asset Management.
Lowes Financial Management has announced the appointment of Peter Collins as business development manager.
Prior to his appointment as business development manager, Collins worked as a consultant at Lowes for over 30 years. In his new role, Collins will engage with intermediaries and potential investors in the Lowes UK Defined Strategy Fund.
