Appointments update - 20 October 2025

ZEDRA Group has promoted Jon McKay to group general counsel.

McKay joined ZEDRA Group in early 2023 as group head of legal and has since played a key role in strengthening the company’s legal and governance functions. Bringing more than 20 years’ international experience across legal, risk and management roles in professional and financial services, he will continue to provide strategic oversight to the board while remaining a member of the executive committee, the group’s data protection lead, and secretary to the ZEDRA Group board. ZEDRA Group CEO, Dean Blackburn, said: “With our global footprint and internationally diverse client base, the strength and integrity of our legal team underpins every aspect of our business. As an integral member of our leadership team, I’m thrilled to see Jon take up this new role. Broadstone has appointed Kelly Parsons as head of defined contribution (DC) proposition.

Parsons joins from Mercer Marsh Benefits, where she led a team of consultants advising employers on pensions, group risk and healthcare. With over 24 years’ experience in pensions and employee benefits, she will be responsible for developing Broadstone’s DC proposition, enhancing member engagement through financial education, and overseeing provider research to ensure market-leading outcomes in the newly-created role. Broadstone head of DC workplace savings, Damon Hopkins, said: “It is exciting to bring Kelly to Broadstone as she will add significant experience in a key growth market for the business. At a time of much change in the pensions market, her expertise will be invaluable in helping new and existing clients deliver best-in-class pension provision for their employees.” Commenting on her appointment, Parsons added: “I am passionate about collaboration and delivering client-centric solutions that ultimately help people achieve better outcomes in retirement. This role gives me the opportunity to do just that alongside Broadstone’s continued success and growth in the pensions sector.”

People’s Partnership has appointed Richard Dallas as non-executive director.

Dallas brings over 30 years’ experience across pensions, financial services and fintech, having held senior positions at Smart Pension, Aegon, Lloyds Banking Group, Sage Group and Charles Schwab Inc. He will sit on the board of People’s Partnership Limited (PPL), and help support the organisation’s continued growth and strategic development as it works towards its goal of managing £60bn in assets within five years. Commenting on his appointment, Dallas said: “I have for many years admired The People’s Pension’s leadership in the UK workplace pensions market. I look forward to bringing my insight and global perspectives to the board to help the executive team continue to excel in supporting customers while driving future growth and ensuring robust governance.” PPL board chair, Jim Islam, added: “We are delighted to welcome Richard to the PPL Board. He brings a valuable commercial and technology-focused perspective that complements the existing balance of skills and experience. His appointment supports our strategic ambitions as we work towards delivering a £60bn People’s Pension in the next five years, with a longer-term goal of reaching £100bn within the next decade.”
