The Association of Member Nominated Trustees (AMNT) has appointed Lewis Brown as vice chair.
He has held several roles at Transport for London (TfL) since 2006 and has also served as a membe-nominated trustee for the TfL Pension Fund since 2010. He chairs the Audit and Risk Committee and sits on both the Operations and Investment Committees. He became a member of the AMNT in 2020 and joined the AMNT Management Committee in 2025. Brown will work alongside AMNT’s current co-chairs, Maggie Rodger and John Flynn, with the aim of helping to ensure that the interests of scheme members remain central to government and regulatory thinking.
LGPS Central has appointed Greg Smith as chief of staff.
Smith joins LGPS Central from Local Pensions Partnership, where he held senior roles including director of strategic programmes and group company secretary. His experience spans governance, legal, strategic programmes and business development and has a track record of supporting organisational delivery across the Local Government Pension Scheme, including time spent at London CIV. In his new role, he will work closely with chief executive, Richard Law-Deeks, as well as the Executive Committee and colleagues across the business.
Sacker & Partners LLP has announced the appointment of Louise McRae and Annabella Hwang as associates.
McRae is a three-year qualified lawyer who trained and qualified at Eversheds Sutherland. She has advised trustees, employers, master trusts and superfunds on a wide range of defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pensions issues, spanning both day-to-day advisory work and complex projects. Meanwhile, Hwang is a newly qualified lawyer who joins Sackers from Pension Insurance Corporation. She has advised trustees and employers across a range of sectors on all aspects of their pension arrangements, including benefit changes, risk transfer projects, and governance issues.
Worcestershire Pension Fund has appointed Mandy Kaur-Sadler as an independent person.
Kaur-Sadler is a senior client director at Dalriada Trustees and has over 20 years of experience in the pensions sector, with expertise in Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) governance, regulation, risk management and legal compliance. In her role, Kaur-Sadler will provide objective challenge, oversight and support to the fund’s governance arrangements, to ensure that decision-making reflects best practice and the interests of members, employers and stakeholders.
