Appointments update 14 March 2019

Hymans Robertson has named Catherine McFadyen as its head of LGPS actuarial, benefits and governance.

McFadyen is an existing partner at Hymans Robertson, joining the company in 2003. Prior to joining Hymans Robertson, she held project and change management roles at British Energy, PepsiCo and PwC, and has provided strategic advice to some of the largest LGPS schemes in England and Scotland.

The National Pension Trust has appointed Gurmukh Hayre and Gerald Wellesley to its trustee board.

The appointments increase the size of its board from three to five trustees. Hayre and Wellesley join as independent professional trustees. Hayre works for Hayre Trustee Services, while Wellesley is currently an employee of Punter Southall Governance Services Limited.

MJ Hudson Allenbridge has announced the appointment of Norbert Fullerton as a senior adviser.

Before joining MJ Hudson, Fullerton was a partner at Mercer, where he was also a DB pensions strategist and lead investment adviser to his clients. Prior to that, he was director of pensions Solutions at Russell Investments after holding various roles at Willis Towers Watson, including head of corporate Investments.
