Appointments update 11 March 2019

Barnett Waddingham has appointed Rosie Marsh to its actuarial consulting team.

In her new role, Marsh will advise trustees on their DB and DC pension arrangements. Prior to joining Barnett Waddingham, she had been a scheme actuary and client relationship manager at JLT for 13 years. Marsh has more than 17 years of experience in advising trustees and sponsoring employers.

Cardano has named Darren Redmayne as a member of its board.

Redmayne will remain as CEO of Lincoln Pensions, which he founded in 2008 and which was acquired by Cardano in 2016. Prior to founding Lincoln Pensions, Redmayne spent 10 years at Close Brothers including leading its UK private equity M&A advisory business, during which he had a secondment to help establish The Pensions Regulator.

Aviva Investors has announced the appointment of Stephen Castle as its head of UK consultant relations.

Castle brings 18 years of experience to his new role. Most recently, he was a senior business development manager at Pictet Asset Management. Prior to that, Castle worked as a client relationship manager at Legal & General Investment Management and as a client account manager at The Bank of New York.
