Sky has appointed Buck to provide multiple services to its two defined contribution (DC) pension schemes.

Buck will provide a range of services for the two schemes, including administration, consultancy, DC strategy, trustee secretarial services, and focused member communications. The larger Sky Pension Plan has around 43,000 active and deferred members, while the smaller Republic of Ireland plan has around 1,000 members. Buck was appointed to the role after a successful tender process.

Local Pensions Partnership Administration (LPPA) has appointed Target Professional Services to assist in the screening and cleansing of their client’s member data.

Target will undertake monthly mortality screening for the complete LPPA pensioner book and address screening as required for their underlying clients. LPPA are one of the largest providers of pension administration services in the UK, supporting 17 pension scheme clients, and over 600,000 members from around 1,900 employers. The integration of Target’s screening and tracing services is to help further benefit and simplify the pensions process for their clients and help them achieve high member data accuracy.
