Sarah McIvor has joined Hymans Robertson's wind-up team as a principal and senior post-transaction specialist.
McIvor joins Hymans Robertson from Scottish Widows, having most recently served as head of operations, bulk annuities. To her new role, she brings knowledge of the UK pensions and risk transfer market. Before McIvor’s operations role, she held several senior roles across Scottish Widows’ bulk annuity teams and spent more than six years at Mercer advising clients on their pension strategy.
Eversheds Sutherland has appointed Claire Petheram as a senior consultant.
Petheram joins the firm following more than 35 years at Linklaters, during which she served as global head of pensions. She has experience advising trustees, sponsors and financial institutions on complex pensions matters, including buy-in and buyout transactions, longevity swaps, funding structures (including those involving contingent assets) and fund mergers and consolidations. In addition to this, she is widely recognised in both legal industry directories, Legal 500 and Chambers. Petheram holds a band one ranking for Pensions in Chambers UK and is included in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame.
Broadstone has appointed Josh Clark as a senior employee benefits consultant.
Clark joins from Aon and moves into Broadstone’s Risk & Health team within its Employee Benefits Consulting division, bringing more than 15 years of experience across the employee benefits and insurance sector. He began his career as a business administration apprentice, before progressing into consulting and building experience across UK insurance and employee benefits brokers, including Lockton and Towergate. In his new role at Broadstone, Clark will use his expertise in risk and health to support the firm’s clients with their employee benefits needs, helping organisations develop effective strategies to attract and retain talent while managing risk.
