Our client is excited to be recruiting for a Senior Pension Operations Analyst to join their Customer Operations department. You will effectively collaborate with Risk / Transitions / Finance to secure their buy-in and implement improvements to systems, processes, and technology, as appropriate, and apply knowledge and insights concerning the Customer Operations function and how this impacts our policyholders.
You will also work to deliver strong business outcomes relating to capital, profitability, the Company brand and market reputation whilst achieving positive outcomes to our policyholders, shareholders, and Trustees on a consistent basis.
About the role
• Oversee outsourced administration teams, ensuring service quality and KPI delivery
• Conduct quality checks on processes, calls, calculations, and complaints
• Review funding calculations and collaborate with actuaries on complex queries
• Support change management, process improvements, and automation testing
• Produce MI reports and contribute to client meetings
• Provide technical pensions expertise and support for trustees and stakeholders
• Lead or support ad-hoc projects and mentor junior team members
About You
• Strong technical knowledge of DB pensions and manual calculations
• Experience in pensions administration, including buy-ins/buy-outs
• Skilled in stakeholder management and delivering excellent service
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple tasks
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with data analysis
• Strong communicator with a collaborative, adaptable approach
