Pensions Administration Manager

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and driving operational excellence? We’re looking for a dynamic Administration Manager to lead our dedicated teams in providing a high-quality, member-first service across retirements, transfers, and bereavements.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Inspire: Manage and support Rail Admin teams to deliver a “right first time” service that meets SLAs and exceeds member expectations.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure effective ways of working are embedded, with a strong focus on performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Resource Strategically: Use data and insights to manage team capacity, resolve resourcing challenges, and boost productivity.
• Develop Talent: Support your team’s growth through regular feedback, performance reviews, and robust training plans.
• Ensure Visibility & Control: Provide accurate MI, maintain workload transparency, and escalate challenges proactively.
• Champion Governance: Maintain robust controls, manage risks, and ensure all processes are compliant and effective.
• Support Change: Lead your teams through change with clear planning, training, and communication.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in managing operational teams within a service-focused environment.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret MI and drive performance.
• A passion for continuous improvement and delivering outstanding member service.
