PMI confirms Atlas Master Trust as master trust partner.

The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) has confirmed Atlas Master Trust as its master trust partner, giving PMI members access to Atlas’ monthly magazine, email newsletters, events, PMI TV, and its dedicated Insight Partners web area. PMI chief executive, Gareth Tancred, said: “This partnership will ensure we can better support our members through direct co-operation with the new mainstream for workplace pension provision.”

Nest invests into BlackRock environmental fund.

The National Employment Savings Trust (Nest) has invested in BlackRock’s Institutional Cash Series (ICS) Sterling Liquid Environmentally Aware Fund (LEAF). The series launched with a focus on environmental factors, as well as social and governance considerations, while maintaining the core objectives of liquidity funds. The funds prohibit investment in certain issuers, including fossil fuels, civilian firearms and tobacco, and only invest in issuers who have better than average performance in environmental practices, as determined by MSCI.

Redington provides Ford with analytics tech.

Redington has announced the onboarding of Ford Motor Company to its ADA technology platform. The duo has collaborated on a unique analytics and scoring system to allow side-by-side comparison of the value of pension provision across defined benefit and defined contribution schemes. This will allow Ford to monitor its 120+ schemes across 36 countries, covering over 200,000 employees. The scoring system is based on key factors such as investment performance, costs and charges, contribution rates and retirement outcomes.
