Aegon has launched a virtual launch events and digital hub for employers.

The hub is being rolled out to some of the firm’s largest workplace schemes over the next 12 months and will be followed up with employer specific worksite presentations, which have also been temporarily shifted to a virtual format. It includes a week of live and interactive activity, hosted by Pension Geeks, which will also be recorded and made available to employees the following week, as well as a suite of resources to help engage members, and scheme specific educational content, like videos and webinars.

Mercer has launched a new climate transition analytics and advice service for institutional investors wanting to align with the Paris Agreement.

The solution, Analytics for Climate Transition, will help investors to construct climate resilient portfolios on a multi-year timeframe, with 1.5°C goal outlined by the Paris Agreement requiring a 45 per cent emissions reduction by 2030. It is being offered to Mercer’s investment consulting clients globally and will be used to support climate strategies across its $304.5bn global assets under management on behalf of its Investment Solutions clients. The framework and analytics draw on multiple data providers and metrics to assess portfolios across a range of carbon risk, with portfolios then ranked from low transition capacity, to those that already low/zero carbon, or are providing climate solutions.

Quantum Employment Design Leader, My Digital, has partnered with PensionSync to help employers and contractors manage their pensions.

The partnership will allow automated pension contribution uploads without manual intervention, thereby eliminating the risk of incorrect submissions, and will introduce single sign-in to both systems to reduce administrative burden and improve security. It will also ensure that the pension submission history is reconciled in real-time in both My Digital’s and PensionSync’s dashboard.
