Stoneport has appointed two new independent trustees to its board.
The appointments of Lisa Mundy from BESTrustees and Tegs Harding from Independent Trustee Services (ITS) will “strengthen” the governance and diversity of Stoneport’s board which now consists of three independent professional trustees. Mundy joined BESTrustees in 2019 where she was service director for the life and pensions business and brings 30 years of experience in financial services to her appointment, whilst Tegs is a professional trustee at ITS and brings his experience of working with schemes with assets between £100m and £1bn in a range of different sectors.
Independent Trustee Services (ITS) has appointed Graeme Griffiths as director.
Graeme joins from the UN-supported sustainable investment initiative Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), where he was chief operating officer, bringing 40 years’ experience in asset management, ESG and corporate finance. ITS executive chair, Chris Martin, commented: “It is great to welcome Graeme to the ITS team. He not only brings skills in asset management and corporate finance, but also a wealth of experience in ESG, adding to the depth of our expertise and enabling us to further support schemes in going above and beyond climate discourses.”
Veronica Oak has been appointed to B&CE’s strategic board.
Before joining B&CE, Oak has served as a marketing director and spent more than 20 years as an independent marketing and business development consultant, working primarily on strategic and product development assignments as well as holding non-executive director posts with a variety of organisations in the private sector as well as trade associations and a wealth management company. Her appointment was welcomed by B&CE CEO, Patrick Heath-Lay, who said: “It’s fantastic to have Veronica on board, as she brings invaluable expertise and experience to our organisation."
