Howden Employee Benefits has appointed Jeff Fox as executive director, platform and engagement solutions.
He brings more than 25 years of experience across employee benefits technology, digital transformation and the people-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Fox joins Howden from Lockton, where he was speciality services lead, heading its specialist employee benefits team. He previously spent 11 years at Aon as a principal, and has also held senior consultancy roles at Benefex, Mercer and KPMG. Fox was appointed to the role on 1 September and reports to Howden Employee Benefits managing director, Cheryl Brennan. In his new role, Fox will lead the continued development of Howden’s platform and engagement strategy, including its Flex proposition and communications capabilities.
The Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA) has appointed four senior colleagues from Local Pensions Partnership Administration (LPPA) to various roles.
LPPA head of risk and governance, Karen Hill, has joined PASA’s Industry Policy Committee, while LPPA director of member services, David Parker, has joined PASA’s Public Sector Working Group. In addition to this, LPPA head of data and employer engagement, Tyrone Samuel, has joined PASA's Pensions Data Working Group and LPPA head of marketing and communications, Chris Dawson, has joined PASA's Engagement and Communications Working Group. The appointments build on LPPA chief executive officer, Jo Darbyshire's, appointment as a PASA board director in 2025.
Three directors have been elected to the Investment Association (IA) Board of Directors following its annual general meeting.
The Board of Directors oversees the IA’s activity and is made up of senior leaders from across the industry. The three individuals elected are NatWest Private Banking & Wealth Management chief executive officer, Emma Crystal; BNP Paribas Asset Management UK chief executive officer, Ouajnat Karim; and Schroders group chief executive, Richard Oldfield. The new directors replace Evelyn Partners former chief executive, Paul Geddes, and Border to Coast chief executive officer, Rachel Elwell, who have stepped down from the Board.
