Cavanagh has more than 20 years of legal experience, specialising in asset and investment management, funds and finance law, and most recently held the role of director, executive legal council at the Qatar Investment Authority. Prior to this, he worked as a lawyer at several law firms, such as Clifford Chance, Linklaters and Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom.
