Appointments update 2 July 2019

The Investing and Savings Alliance (TISA) has named Tony Stenning as interim chairman following Clive Shelton’s term in office completion.

Following TISA’s renaming, from the Tax Incentivised Savings Association, Shelton will step down and be replaced by Stenning until a permanent successor is appointed. Shelton has been involved with TISA since 1991, initially on its Advisory Council and subsequently the board, becoming deputy chairman in 2000.

BESTrustees has appointed Darren Jefferson as its head of business development.

Jefferson has over 30 years of experience in the pensions industry in a variety of operational, client facing and business development roles. He has previously worked at Pitmans Trustees, Now Pensions and Independent Trustee Services. Most recently he founded Alius Services and ran the firm between 2017 and 2019.

Carmingnac has announced the appointment of Justin Kew as sustainability manager.

Kew joins from Fidelity International, where he was a senior ESG analyst, responsible for integrating ESG data in the investment analysis and portfolio management process while designing investment process for clients. Prior to that, he held a role in sustainable Investment and product management for J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
