Appointments update 12 November 2020

Trafalgar House has announced the appointment of Kate Hall to its trustee secretarial service team.

Joining with over 20 years’ experience in the pensions industry, Hall will be responsible for delivering a range of key secretarial, governance and project management services. Prior to this, she was reward pensions specialist at Leeds Building Society, having previously spent 18 years at Willis Towers Watson, where she provided actuarial and consultancy support to pension schemes. She is also a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and holds the Pension Management Institute (PMI) award in pension trusteeship.

State Street has been reappointed by Nest Corporation, the trustee of the National Employment Savings Trust (Nest).

Under the renewal, State Street will continue to provide a variety of back office servicing solutions, including global custody, fund accounting performance measurement, compliance monitoring, asset allocation rebalancing as well as unit dealing for Nest’s nine million members in the UK. It will also manage the transfer of members’ contributions from the scheme administrator to the appropriate fund managers.

Janus Henderson has named Paul LaCoursiere as global head of environmental, social and governance (ESG) investments.

LaCoursiere, who will join the firm on 6 January 2021, brings more than 20 years’ experience to the role, where he will be responsible for driving the integration of ESG across its strategies. The newly-created role will be based in the firm’s London office, and reports to global chief investment officer, Enrique Chang. LaCoursiere joins from Aviva investors, where he has been since 2014, having previously held roles at Chicago Equity Partners, Barclays Global Investors, and Munder Capital Management.
